How to Install a Dictionary on Your XTEINK

Compatible with XTEINK devices running the Crosspoint firmware. Official documentation is also available on the Crosspoint Reader documentation.

1. Download the file

   Download the dictionary file to your computer (pick the StarDict format, it should be named something like dict-XX-YY.zip).

2. Unzip the file

   Extract the archive to obtain the dictionary folder containing the StarDict files.

3. Connect your device

   Connect your XTEINK or its SD card to your computer.

4. Copy the folder

   Copy your dictionary folder into the /dictionaries/ folder on the SD card (one dictionary per folder). Alternatively, a hidden /.dictionaries/ folder works the same way to keep it out of the file browser.

5. Safe eject and unplug

   Safely eject the device or SD card, and unplug it.

6. Select your dictionary

   On your device, go to Settings → Reader → Dictionary and select your dictionary from the list.
